Botanic Gardens

The Botanic Gardens are located just 3 km from the centre of Dublin. A walk through the gardens is a peace filled and tranquil city experience. You will find yourself wandering through sculpted gardens that are home to over 20,000 living plants and many millions of dried plant specimens. The gardens also house the National Herbarium, some of Dublin Cities best sculptures and magnificent wrought iron glasshouses. An oasis in the soul of the city.

 

Phoenix Park

The Phoenix Park is a nature lovers treasure in the heart of Ireland’s capital city. The park covers over 1,700 acres of grasslands, forest, rivers and lakes and boasts a wide range of animal and flora life. The park, for local Dubliners is a place to enjoy walks amidst the wild deer that inhabit the park. The sights of the park also includes our Presidents house, Dublin Zoo, The Victorian Peoples Flower Gardens and The Furry Glen area of conservation amongst other important sites.
